Two youths were detained at the back of the Trafalgar Bowls Club on Sunday afternoon.
Police said it followed reports of two male teenagers smashing back windows at a vacant property in Ward St.
They said a witness followed the teenagers in a vehicle and detailed their location to police. Both were 14-years-old.
