Guide to find Gippsland’s best eats, drinks
1 min read

Visitors to Gippsland and locals now have an extensive updated guide to help them find the region's best places to eat and where to try the best locally made drinks.
Destination Gippsland with co-operation from the region's six local government councils and participating producers, cafes and restaurants has produced a high quality book of 134 pages - Eat.Drink.Gippsland - with all the details about how to find the best places.
There are wine touring routes, town guides, farm gate maps, farmers' markets and stories from food and drink ambassadors.
Destination Gippsland chief executive officer Terry Robinson said visitors to the region have increased steadily and now exceeded those pre-COVID.
The book provides a connection between them and Gippsland's exceptional food and drink offerings as well as increasing their satisfaction with the visits, he said.
It's also a great support for small hospitality businesses across the region, unlocking information on leading restaurants, breweries, distilleries and cider houses, Mr Robinson added.
The guide is available at participating businesses, visitor information centres in Gippsland, Phillip Island and Melbourne and online at the Visit Gippsland website.
It is also being promoted at Melbourne, interstate and international markets via trade and consumer shows and events.
