Flooded homes and pool days in summer

Three houses were flooded, eight properties had shed or backyard flooding, 15 roads were temporarily closed and more than 60 residents requested assistance in Baw Baw Shire early last week.
After two days of significant rainfall - in which several towns recorded the equivalent of a month of rain in 24 hours - Baw Baw Shire reported Longwarry, Drouin and Labertouche areas were all impacted by flooding.
Planning and development acting director Martin Hopley said outreach teams visited residents to assess flood impacts and offer assistance last Tuesday.
