Baw Baw fire brigades have added electric vehicle (EV) fire safety to their training portfolio following a recent group exercise at Nilma North Primary School.
About 70 local volunteers received hands-on training and became well-equipped with safety protocols for accidents or emergencies involving electric vehicles.
The training included the latest information from Australian company EV FireSafe to ensure the brigades have up-to-date knowledge and skills.
