The release of a book detailing Warragul fire brigade's history was a highlight of a special celebration marking its 140th anniversary.
And a framed reproduction of a letter held by Warragul and District Historical Society written to the then Warragul Shire Council pleading for a water supply to be made available to the brigade by a resident that became the inaugural brigade captain, James Biram, also was unveiled.
