Extra railway parking at Drouin raises safety issue

Work is well underway on construction of an additional 40 car parking bays for train users from Drouin.
But the project has raised safety concerns with the owner of the adjoining heritage-listed Old Drouin Butter Factory.
The extra parking is being developed on part of a section of VicTrack land east of the Main South Rd railway bridge and existing station car park with the two areas linked by the pedestrian pathway beneath the bridge.
