High priority maintenance has been approved for three local primary schools by the state government.
The schools at Buln Buln, Trafalgar and Nar Nar Goon will be funded to undertake essential work in classrooms and other school buildings, Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing said.
It could involve fixing roofs, replacing windows, applying new paint, resurfacing floors or external works such as improving pathways.
Ms Shing said Warragul, Drouin and Narracan primary schools had also received maintenance funds earlier in the current financial year.
She said the work made a positive difference to the amenity and accessibility for students, teachers and staff.
