More than 130 young people took part in the Baw Baw Esports event held at the West Gippsland Arts Centre on July 9 and 10.
About 50 people, including family and friends of competitors, attended to watch the electronic gaming event.
It is the second time the shire has hosted the tournament and gaming event, which attracted a prize pool of $1250.
Staged in conjunction with the Australian Esport League the competition was open to all access gaming PCs and Nintendo Switch gaming consoles.
Participants travelled from Melbourne, and throughout Gippsland to take part in the two day event.
The event was divided into two sections - open and high school.
