Erratic driver arrested in Warragul

A Warragul man is facing driving charges after allegedly driving at a police vehicle in Warragul on Thursday, February 6.
Police said a stolen blue Nissan Pulsar was reported driving erratically in Warragul when the incident occurred at about 6.10pm.
They reported officers were forced to take evasive action.
Earlier, it was reported the vehicle drove into a private property on Lardners Trk where it allegedly hit a car, causing minor damage. The owner attempted to remove the keys from the Pulsar to stop it leaving. However, after a scuffle broke out, the vehicle left.
Police located the vehicle in a Hazel Drv carpark and arrested two occupants; an 18-year-old Warragul man and 27-year-old Melton woman.
The man was charged with various driving offences and bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court at a later date.
