Community members gathered at the West Gippsland Arts Centre yesterday morning for the official launch of Baw Baw Shire's NAIDOC Week celebrations.
This year's national NAIDOC Week theme is "For Our Elders", and acknowledges the prominent role elders hold in communities and families.
NAIDOC Week extends through the first week of July.
