A Drouin girl was amongst a group of teenagers arrested in a Hawthorn yard on the long weekend.
It followed an alleged aggravated burglary and theft of two vehicles in Melbourne's northwest.
Five teenagers were arrested in a Hawthorn yard after attempting to flee police officers after 9pm on Sunday, January 26. A sixth teenager was arrested nearby.
The 17-year-old girl from Drouin was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and bailed to appear at Children's Court at a later date.
Also arrested were a 16-year-old boy from Moe, 14-year-old boy from Morwell, a 19-year-old man from Healesville, and two Frankston teenagers aged 15 and 16-years-old boy.
Police allege a silver Mercedes sedan was stolen from a house in Rosanna during an aggravated burglary at 4am.
They said the same offenders stole a Toyota wagon from the driveway of a Hawthorn East property at 5.50pm.
Using a tracking device, police located the Toyota with assistance of the Air Wing.
