Disbelief over Thorpdale road

A Thorpdale road is an accident waiting to happen, according to a Baw Baw Shire councillor.
Cr Brendan Kingwill used Wednesday's council meeting to praise the Thorpdale Potato Festival as "a truly incredible event."
The only downside, he said, was 7000 visitors having to use Thorpdale Rd with a landslip to gain access.
"We really need to start turning thec heat up on VicRoads to get this addressed," Cr Kingwill said. "Thank God nobody was injured, but it's just a matter of time."
In a social media post, Cr Kingwill expanded, stating the festival organisers "jumped through hoops" to meet the permit standards to keep everyone safe.
"Yet the biggest risk to safety is the road between Trafalgar and Thorpdale," he wrote. "That slip is a disgrace and danger to the community."
