Community project meets need of homeless women

A community project involving more than 50 tradespeople and $300,000 in donations has delivered accommodation for homeless women.
Four units at Warragul's Fairview Village have been refurbished and transformed to provide accommodation for homeless women over 55-years-old.
The units will address an increasing wait list for public housing in West Gippsland and a lack of options for single, older women.
The project has been a partnership between Fairview and Quantum Support Services, but was largely driven by Member for Narracan Wayne Farnham who initiated the project before he was elected.
