Last week Warragul Community House held Talk Like a Pirate Day, complete with dress-ups and games.
Members of the community all gathered together in their best seafaring outfits and enjoyed pirate-themed games and snacks.
Community house manager Rosemary Allica said the day had good attendance and was about socialising.
"Talk like a Pirate Day is about having fun and socialising with others," she said.
"We invited lots of people to join in, have a bit of fun, dress up, play some pirate games and eat some pirate food."
Those who dressed up had impressive outfits, complete with hats, boots and swords and enthusiastic chatter filled the house throughout the day.
