Warragul Police members participated in a smoking ceremony led by Kurnai Elder Aunty Cheryl Drayton recently.
Police members gathered in the car park, where Aunty Cheryl explained the old station's cells once were, to hold the ceremony.
Aunty Cheryl spoke about the history of the police station and the relationships between police and the local Indigenous community.

Aunty Cheryl said each person carries a spirit, and the smoking ceremo
