Call for Williams to visit Gippsland

Local Kurnai elder Aunty Cheryl Drayton says the government's Closing the Gap program "hasn't closed the gap at all".
Speaking with The Gazette Aunty Cheryl, of Labertouche, who is strongly active in Gippsland's Indigenous community said she was "disenchanted" with the lack of any real progress.
Some people within state organisations and agencies such as health services, education and employment were trying to gain some understanding of the special needs and situations of Aboriginal people but they are relatively few, she said.
