Nominations for the annual Gippsland Business Awards, now in their 25th year, are being invited for 2023.
Awards chair Graeme Sennett said the awards acknowledged the achievements of business people and the determination, innovation and resilience of business and industry throughout the region.
Sponsored by Federation University awards are made in a number of categories with an innovation category to be include for the first time this year.
As well as the prestigious Gippsland Business of the Year there are awards for accommodation, food and wine production, health and wellbeing, hospitality, manufacturing, new business, retail, business and professional services, beauty and personal care, mechanical trades and construction, and tourism activities and attractions.
All entrants will be considered for a special commemorative judges' choice "25th anniversary award".
Mr Sennett urged all of the region's business operators to enter and take the opportunity to have their achievements recognised.
Past award finalists and winners demonstrated that despite facing obstacles and challenges their passion, enthusiasm and skills had created businesses that are second to none, he said.
