The Bunyip Football and Netball Clubs' hopes of a move back to the Ellinbank and District Football Netball League were dashed last week after the league voted against the transfer - leaving Bunyip planning for tough times ahead.
With the Bulldogs seeking to leave the West Gippsland Football Netball Competition and return to the EDFNL for the first time since 2016, the final vote tally was six for and 10 against at Tuesday night's special meeting.
