The search is on for women to nominate for local council elections, with free training and mentoring now on offer.
On the eve of International Women's Day, the state government opened applications for its "Women Leading Locally Program".
The program will equip 125 leaders with the connections and tools to campaign as candidates for the 2024 council elections.
