Powerful vocals are set to amaze when Warragul Theatre Company officially open its production "Les Miserables" next week.
Rehearsals are in full swing ahead for the talented cast ahead of the eight-show season at the West Gippsland Arts Centre.
It will star David Lamb as Jean Valjean, Anna Nowotny as Fantine, Michael Barron as Javert, Alex Kirkbright as Eponine, Jordan Walton as Marius and Mandie Lee as Cosette.
"Les Miserables" is undoubtedly an audience favourite, with the company revisiting this epic musical every 10 years. The convict gangs, factories, docks, and cobbled streets of Paris all lead to the battle for freedom at the barricades.
Opening night will be Friday, May 20 at 7.30pm. Shows will follow on Saturday, May 21 at 1.30pm and 7.30pm; Sunday, May 22 at 1.30pm; Thursday, May 26 at 7.30pm; Friday, May 27 at 7.30pm; and Saturday, May 28 at 1.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets are $55 for general, $48 for concession, $45 for members, youth and groups, with Saturday shows already selling fast.
