After a career in forestry and ending his working life representing his community, retiring Member for Narracan Gary Blackwood said he had been "absolutely blessed."
At a retirement dinner held at Lardner Park, Mr Blackwood said he couldn't think of a better way to end his working life than "being part of a fantastic community."
Mr Blackwood has served four terms in state parliament, only one of which was as a member of the sitting Liberal government from 2010-2014.

He stood as the Liberal candidate for Narracan at the 2006 state elect
