Drouin's Probus Club has a new defibrillator thanks to the Drouin and District Community Bank.
The bank, that has provided the life saving equipment to many organisations in the district, was more than willing to provide a new replacement for one that it had previously provided the club.
President Allan Seabrook said the warranty period for the old defibrillator had expired and needed a new battery and pads.
It was thought best to get a new one and the bank agreed, he said.
The Drouin Probus club, one of two in the town, has 65 members with the defibrillator always on hand at its monthly meetings and regular trips.
Fortunately we never had to use the old defibrillator, Mr Seabrook said.
