Pharaoh's Secret Angels' latest fundraising event raised $27,481 for the West Gippsland Hospital's oncology unit.
The No Ordinary Girl Runway event was staged at Violet and Ivvy in Warragul on October 8 and was the group's biggest event yet.
The event was hosted by local fashion houses Dressed to the Nines, Jazala and Curves and Kisses, showcasing various styles that defiantly captured the eye.
PSA is a charity set up to support and raise funds for the care of local patients living with cancer.
The group was established in support of a close friend Liza Pharaoh who battled cancer for almost 10 years and died in May last year.
Liza is the inspiration and driving force for members to raise money for the hospital's oncology unit, as well as many friends and family that have been touched by cancer.
Funds raised by the group have supported patients through the cancer care program. Now, with a new oncology unit on the way, the group is directing money raised to new chemo chairs and potentially some landscaping and garden seats that would reflect some of Liza's beautiful soul.
