Next month Neerim South man Rick Kamphuis will trek the 655km Australian Alps Walking Track to raise funds for the Morris family.
Hayley Morris, 32, a mother of three, has recently been diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer.
Hayley and her family have lived in West Gippsland for most of their lives, only moving to Lakes Entrance last year shortly before her diagnosis.
The "Hayley's Hill" fundraiser will assist the family in making the most of their time together, allow Wayne Morris to take time off work to support Hayley and relieve the pressures of household and medical bills.
