A Happy donation

Happy the steer's first birthday was a highlight at Farm World last month when the celebrations also became a fundraiser.
Thanks to Farm World patrons, the gold coin donation initiative for Happy's birthday celebration we raised $600.
Combined with the generosity of two of Farm World's tractor trailer backing competition finalists, Mark and Paul Wilms who donated their winnings to the fundraiser, the total was boosted to $850.
Lardner Park matched the funds, resulting in a total donation of $1700 to the West Gippsland Healthcare Group.
Lardner Park chief executive officer Craig Debnam said they were thrilled by the incredible support and generosity shown by the Farm World community in raising funds for the West Gippsland Healthcare Group at Happy's first birthday celebration.
"We look forward to continuing this fundraising opportunity at Farm World 2025," he said.
Happy became a Farm World Mascot last year when he was purchased by Lardner Park after gaining international attention for his unique smiley face markings when he was born on the Ripplebrook dairy farm of Barry and Megan Coster.
Lardner Park purchased the calf, making a $10,000 donation to the healthcare group, and Happy is continue to deliver ongoing cash benefits with his fundraising.
