Two announcements over the past week could give major boosts to Warragul's commercial base.
The former Warragul saleyards site in Alfred St, zoned for commercial use under Baw Baw Shire's planning scheme, was sold to a developer and approval for a major commercial development at Queen St east was given the tick by the shire's planning department.
The saleyards property that has been vacant since March 2021 has been sold to Melbourne-based commercial property development company McMullin Group.
