Tradies for a day
1 min read

Warragul & Drouin Gazette, December 15, 2015

Jindivick's grade six students have had the opportunity to see first-hand a range of trades pursuits during “tradie for a day” sessions.

Students from around West Gippsland have participated in the program, hosted by the Wes Gippsland Trade Training Alliance at Baw Baw Skills Centre.

The program aimed to give grade six students an insight into a range of trades occupations that they may like to pursue in years to come.

Trades people were on hand at the Baw Baw Skills Centre in Warragul to provide students with information and hands on activities relating to their work.

The trades covered included carpentry, plumbing, automotive, 3D printing and agriculture-horticulture.
