Former Warragul resident and Drouin Football Club product Jacob Konstanty had the chance to show what he can do in the big time as he made his AFL debut for North Melbourne on Saturday night.
It's taken two years and a change of clubs but Konstanty, 20, ultimately won a spot in the Kangaroos' round one team after a strong pre-season for his new team following a trade from Sydney during the off-season.
The defensive small forward, noted for his pressure and tackling, finished the night with 10 disposals (five contested), six tackles (two inside 50), two score involvements and one goal assist as North Melbourne was defeated by 16 points.
