Tyrese named young volunteer

Warragul had a young leader take the stage last week after local Tyrese Walsh was named the recipient of the Volunteering Victoria Young Volunteer Award.
Tyrese was recognised for his volunteering work as a proud First Nations man, where he has worked as an ambassador for Anglicare Victoria's Buldau Yiooghen (Big Dreams) program.
As part of the program, Tyrese has worked closely with young First Nations people to connect with their culture, fostering pride and empowerment through their heritage.
He has done plenty of work as a youth mentor, building trust with vulnerable young people and helping them navigate their journeys.
While juggling personal responsibilities at home, he has remained committed to supporting his peers, demonstrating resilience, compassion and a deep dedication to community.
