Two people aged in their 30s have been charged with drug offences after being intercepted over consecutive nights in Warragul.
Police arrested a 34-year-old Warragul woman at the BP service station in Alfred St on Tuesday at 10pm.
They allege she was in the driver's seat of a vehicle with no registration plates displayed on the front and those on the back matched stolen plates. A man who was refuelling the vehicle ran away.
A vehicle search located GHB, methamphetamine and ecstasy, police allege. They also allege methamphetamine was found in her clothing. The woman was interviewed and charged with drug possession, handling stolen goods and resisting police.
She was bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court on February 4.
A 38-year-old Altona Meadows man was arrested after police intercepted a vehicle on on the Princes Fwy on Monday, November 25.
Police allege they found a significant amount of cash on the man and 27g of cannabis, 5.5g of methamphetamine and a further significant amount of cash inside the vehicle.
The man was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of cannabis.
He was bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court on January 20.
