Threatened at knifepoint for shoes

Police reported a teenage boy was threatened at knifepoint for his shoes in the vicinity of Drouin Railway Station on Sunday afternoon.

Three of the four youths believed to be responsible for the armed robbery have been arrested.
Police said the teenage boy was walking through the station underpass when four youths approached him and demanded his shoes at about 2.20pm. He refused the request.
The teenager was again approached in nearby Drouin Memorial Park on Princes Way when one youth allegedly produced a knife with a 30cm blade.
After refusing again, the teenager was reportedly tackled to the ground but struggled free before his shoes could be removed. He ran to McDonalds in Young St and notified staff who called police.
Police searched the vicinity and arrested three male youths - a 14-year-old from Drouin, a 15-year-old from Warragul and a 12-year-old from Newborough. They are now searching for a fourth youth, believed to be a 13-year-old from Drouin South.
Police have not determined what action will be taken.
