The Warragul Football Netball Club has retained the long-running Warragul and Drouin Gazette Cup against Drouin for the seventh successive time on Sunday.
The Cup awards 100 total points split 50-50 between the results of four football matches and six netball matches.
Warragul claimed 57 points thanks to wins in in the reserves, thirds and fourths football as well as the A and C grade netball, plus a win in the 13 and under netball and a draw in the 15 and under netball.
Drouin took 43 points from wins in the senior football, B grade netball, 17 and under netball and the aforementioned draw in the 15 and under netball.
It was also a very successful day for Warragul financially, as the club took record intakes in gate, canteen and bar sales, even without the netball being played off-site.
The two clubs will next compete for the Cup in round 12 later this year.
