Garfield Primary School enjoyed a blast from the past last week, hosting a reunion that featured the opening of a 50-year-old time capsule.
A crowd of former students of all ages were welcomed back to the school for a ceremony, where former staff and students shared memories of the school and reminisced on how it had changed over its long history before opening a time capsule first created by staff and students in 1972.
