Success of the inaugural pet show at last year's Warragul Show will see the event return to Saturday's program of events this year.
The initiative aims to encourage young people to get involved in the show.
For those who may not have farm animals to exhibit, but have pets they love, pamper and care for, the pet show is open for exhibitors 16-years and under.
There will be nine classes available for a variety of entries.
Pet show co-ordinator Julie Bonanno said it was all about getting young people involved in the show.
"A lot of people don't have farm animals but a lot of kids do have their pride and joy pets who live in town so this is about happy pets and happy owners.
"It's a great opportunity for kids to feel proud of their pets. Every child can be a part of the show without it being a farm animal and that's what the show is all about. It's our show, it's our community show and this is a way of getting kids involved," Julie said.
Julie said there was even a best teddy bear class for anyone that didn't have a pet to enter.
Entries for the pert show will be taken from 10.30am on Saturday with judging underway at 11am in the Furlife marquee. Entry is free. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third in each class.
Classes include:
