Smiles and a determination to do their best were the main objectives at the recent St Paul's Anglican Grammar School's years three to six athletics carnival.
Friendly competition between houses and each other ensured students pursued their personal bests in long jump, triple jump, shot put, high jump, hurdles and the 100m race.
The competition was no "hurdle" for Burgundy house who took out the win on 420 points, followed by Navy on 402 points, Gold on 372 points and Emerald on 319 points.
