The much-anticipated 'Grandparents and Special Friends Day' finally arrived at St Paul's Anglican Grammar School's junior school, connecting generations and prompting discussions about learning in today's world.
Heartwarming scenes unfolded as visitors tried to keep up with students eager to show them as much as they could, as they grabbed their elders' hands and led them on a tour of the school.
Inside the classrooms, students proudly showcased their classwork to their guests who reminisced about their own school days, before being charmed by student performances that left them clapping with pride and possibly wiping away a tear or two.
Scones with cream and jam were popular, as were conversations about produce in the school's much-loved Kitchen Garden.
