Thorpdale Primary School staff and students have been hard at work raising funds for their upcoming fun run and have been enjoying the fruits - and slime - of their labours.
As students have hit various fundraising milestones they've been treated to a variety of rewards, including icy poles, a free hot dog lunch and extra play time.
However, the highlight of these rewards has undoubtedly been getting the chance to slime their teachers, a messy and memorable moment that has quickly become the students' favourite so far.
Bravely stepping up to the challenge, school principal David Shields, chaplain Daniel Robinson and teacher Donna Powell all volunteered to be slimed, much to the delight of the students.
The sliming event marked a fun and messy end to the week, bringing plenty of laughter and excitement to the school grounds.
With the fun run just around the corner, the students remain motivated, knowing their fundraising efforts are not only supporting a great cause but also bringing fun-filled moments to their school community.
