A new year brought new beginnings at St Paul's Anglican Grammar School as they welcomed their newest students while also naming school leaders.
The youngest primary students at the school experienced an incredible first day, marked by the school's traditional 'crossing of the hats' ceremony.
The 'Almost A St Paul's Preppie' gold hats, received during last year's orientation, had the word 'almost' joyfully crossed off, symbolising the preps' official entry into the school community.
While the first day of school can stir emotions for parents, experienced teachers offered reassuring words.
They emphasised the preps are in caring hands, and as they embrace new routines, adapt to school life, and embark on their educational journey, their wellbeing and happiness remain top priorities.
New student leaders also were introduced, and are poised to showcase their leadership skills in the upcoming school year.
Year 12 school captains Ruby Langham and Max O'Connor were recently inducted into their roles alongside deputy captains Joshua Ralph and Lucinda Waller at a recent leader induction assembly.
Also embarking on their journey of leadership are year six students Anneke Beamish and Luke Blackwood as the St Paul's Warragul junior school captains.
Together, the leaders aspire to be beacons of inspiration, guiding their fellow students towards inclusiveness and embodying the school's values of wisdom, integrity, compassion and respect.
