Italian feast on stage
1 min read

An Italian feast was enjoyed when St Josephs Primary School in Warragul presented its annual school concert "Un Giro D'Italia".
Two concerts were presented at the school, with senior students playing the starring roles.
Set in a restaurant in Rome, senior students competed in a quiz to answer questions about Italy.
This led into each class presenting an Italian themed song, including "Antipasto Rock", "Ciao", "Just Like a Roman", "Lasagna", "Pizza Dough Boggie", "That's Amore" and "Ole, Ole, Ole".
Following a Tarantella dance, all students combined for the finale "I Want to Be in Italy".
Students at St Joseph's study Italian language and the concert was an opportunity to take their families on a tour of Italian language, sites, traditions and customs.
It was a fantastic conclusion to term three with students finally able to return to the stage after two years of COVID restrictions.
