St Paul's Anglican Grammar School secondary students took to the water in an atmosphere of fun, colour and excitement during their recent combined-campus house swimming carnival.
Year 12 students made waves during their final carnival, rallying behind their younger peers and cheering them on as they competed - reinforcing the idea that the event is just as much about community as it is about competition.
The carnival wrapped up with Paterson house taking home the coveted 2025 house swim shield, the house spirit award, the overall junior division champions award, the overall intermediate division champions award and placing second in the senior division.
Paterson house achieved its first-place position with 852 points, followed by Lalor in second place with 750 points and Gilmore House in third place with 449 points.
Student participation is encouraged in house events and aims to support student wellbeing by promoting teamwork and school spirit while providing an opportunity to take a break from academics.
