Collage of strength and resilience
1 min read

The native hibiscus and its symbolism of strength and resilience was the focus of learning at Bunyip Primary School recently.
Through its school wide positive behaviour support program, grade six students led a group activity during Reconciliation Week to learn about the importance of things that have happened in the past and a part of our history.
The native hibiscus is recognised as a symbol of strength and resilience of members of the Stolen Generation.
Each group selected a different medium to decorate their flowers which were then used to create a collage around the words "Now more than ever" which was the theme of this year's Reconciliation week.
