Poowong Consolidated School held book week celebrations recently, complete with fun activities and a dress-up parade.
Teachers spent all week creating fun book-related activities for the students to enjoy, and the school even hosted author Nicole Kelly.
This year's book week also coincided with a visit from the Scholastic Book Fair.
A book-themed dress-up parade was a school favourite - with both teachers and students going all out to look like their favourite books and characters.
Harry Potter characters were a popular choice, as were Minions and other storybook characters.
Students with the most creative costumes were awarded prizes, books and vouchers in front of the school.
The vouchers were donated from The Hair and the Tortoise Books from Korumburra.
