Bona Vista Primary School recently inducted its school captains April Cann and Ashleigh Gourley at a special school assembly.
Ash and April, who are in grades six and five respectively, were elected by their fellow students and school community members for the leadership positions.
Member for Narracan Wayne Farnham presented the badges and encouraged students to work with their leaders for a more productive and enjoyable year.
Both students accepted their badges with great pride and promised to campaign for improvements around the school and strive to be good role models to their fellow students.
