Early voting in the Voice referendum opened yesterday with the only booth in Baw Baw Shire located in Warragul.
Pre-poll votes can be lodged at the St Paul's former year nine centre at 57 Sutton St, Warragul, until the official polling day on Saturday, October 14.
The Australian Electoral Commission also has announced locations throughout Baw Baw Shire of booths where votes can be cast on October 14.
The early voting booth in Warragul will open from 8.30am to 5.30pm up until next Friday, from 9am to 4pm on Saturday; between 8.30am and 5pm from next Monday until Thursday and on Friday, October 13, between 8.30am and 6pm.
Booths open on October 14 will operate from 8am to 6pm.
Booths in Baw Baw Shire will be at:
Warragul, Warragul North, Nilma, Buln Buln, St Ita's Drouin, Ellinbank, Drouin, Drouin South, Bona Vista, Neerim South and Trafalgar primary schools.
Warragul Uniting Church.
Drouin Secondary College.
Longwarry, Yarragon, Thorpdale, Noojee and Narracan public halls.
Labertouche and District and and Willow Grove community centres.
There also will be booths at a number of nearby towns in neighbouring Cardinia and South Gippsland shires; and at Poowong Consolidated school (South Gippsland).
Cardinia Shire booths include Garfield, Nar Nar Goon and Lang Lang primary schools; Bunyip, Tynong, Bayles and Nar Nar Goon public halls; Koo wee rup community centre, and Father Pooley Memorial Hall at Maryknoll.
