A year of student artwork was on exhibition when Drouin West Primary School held its first whole school art show.
Colourful and bright artwork filled classrooms and an undercover outdoor space, allowing families the chance to explore the school and student displays.
Art teacher Lis Height said almost all families attended the after-school art show.
Despite cold conditions, the rain mostly held off and a coffee van offered some temporary warmth.
"An entire school community were there, including extended families," Ms Height said, noting several families made return visits after collecting grandparents or other family.
She said it was the first time Drouin West had held a whole school exhibition and noted "amazingly positive feedback".
Students, having gained inspiration from famous artists such as Picasso and Van Gogh as well as creating ceramic and terracotta pieces, proudly searched for their creations amongst the hundreds on display.
"We're very much hoping to make this an annual event, going bigger and better next year," Ms Height said.
