Perfect day for school fair
1 min read

Drouin West Primary School raised more than $6000 at its school fair recently.
Principal Kerry Ware said a team of parents and fair committee had worked hard behind the scenes for many months.
"It was a very successful day and the weather was perfect," she said.
"As well as the fundraising, which is the main reason you do these sorts of things, there was a good community feel.
"We had prospective families, neighbours, friends and people from outside the area.
"We draw on the same local people a lot (for fundraising) so it was nice to get people from further afield."
Activities included face painting, colouring in competitions, hair braiding, jumping castle and animal farm, while showbags were also on offer.
A band from Mornington Peninsula provided entertainment.
