Paterson dominates swimming sports
1 min read

Paterson House has taken out the Drouin Secondary College swimming sports for the fourth year running.
Paterson ran away to a comfortable win by more than 200 points, with Gordon finishing second.
Even though it drizzled most of the day it did not seem to dampen the enthusiasm of students and teachers, all of whom seemed to have a good time.
Races were contested with competitors keen to do their best for their respective houses.
The novelty races at the end of the day were very popular with students having fun.
Parents were able to attend and show support, while house captains organised swimmers well.
Individual championships went to Lachlan Maas and Piper Hastings (juniors), Caleb Wright and Daisy Hastings (intermediate), Julian Wainwright and Emily Webster (seniors).
Wainwright also set three new college records, under 17 50m backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle, and went on to break a record in the under 17 50m butterfly at the West Gippsland Swimming Championships on February 27.
