Singing alternative lyrics to represent an Aussie summer at Christmas are Riley Pullin, Pandora Frake and Madeline A’Herne with their yellow polka dot bikinis.
Parents, uncles, aunts and grandparents filled the Bunyip Hall last Tuesday evening, and at the rehearsal during the afternoon, for Columba Catholic Primary School’s Christmas concert.
There was not a parking space available in Bunyip during the times of the rehearsals and performance.
The concert of Christmas carols, traditional and remixed with some contemporary music and dance moves, was rehearsed throughout term four and executed superbly at the event which was hosted by the school’s grade six students.
Carols such as White Christmas were given new lyrics that represented an Australian Christmas of summer, beaches and barbecues with costumes to match.
