Caution for 12-year-old boy

Police issued a caution to a 12-year-old boy following an aggravated burglary and vehicle theft in Drouin on Thursday morning.

The boy, from Moe, was arrested with a 24-year-old Drouin woman.
Police allege they stole keys to a white Kia Sorento from a Church St residence between 2am and noon. It is believed entry was gained via an unlocked rear door as the victim slept.
The stolen car was seen in Windsor Ave, Warragul at noon after which it was deemed stolen.
After observing the vehicle in Albert Rd, Warragul, police intercepted and arrested the pair at about 3.30pm.
Police said the boy was cautioned and the woman charged and bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court on Thursday, November 28.
