The historical society and a businesses in Trafalgar have reported burglaries.
Police said the burglaries, both in Contingent St, may be related.
The Trafalgar Veterinary Centre in Contingent St reported a burglary last Tuesday between 6am and 6.30am.
Police said a man forced entry to the clinic and attempted to break into a drug safe.
They said a considerable amount of cash was taken from another safe and register.
The man was described as Caucasian with dark hair and a receding hairline. He was wearing grey and black pants, black puffer jacket, white shoes and black gloves.
A burglary at the Trafalgar and District Historical Society was discovered on Thursday. However, it may have occurred anytime from Friday, November 1.
The clubrooms were accessed and all rooms searched. Laptops were moved but not taken. It is unknown if anything else was stolen.
A burglary also was reported at Gippsland Concrete and Aggregates in Contour Rd.
Police said it was discovered on Saturday but may have occurred anytime from Friday, October 25.
It is alleged cyclone wire fencing was cut to gain entry to the yard. A sledgehammer may have been used to break an office door.
It is reported attempts were made to open the safe but it doesn't appear anything was stolen.
Three shops hit in an hour
